Integra LifeSciences Backs FY18 Adj. EPS Outlook, Q3 Profit Surges - Quick Facts

(RTTNews.com) - Medical technology company Integra LifeSciences Holdings Corp. ( IART ) on Wednesday continues to project fiscal 2018 earnings in a range of $0.71 to $0.77 per share and adjusted earnings in a range of $2.36 to $2.42 per share.

However, the company lowered its full-year revenue guidance to a range of $1.467 billion to $1.472 billion on organic revenue growth of about 4 percent, from the prior forecast range of between $1.475 billion and $1.490 billion on organic revenue growth of about 5 percent.

On average, analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expect the company to report earnings of $2.40 per share on revenues of $1.49 billion for the year. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

For the third quarter, net income surged to $13.29 million or $0.15 per share from $3.16 million or $0.04 per share in the prior-year quarter. Adjusted earnings were $0.59 per share, compared to last year's $0.45 per share. Revenues increased 31.2 percent to $365.85 million from last year's $278.83 million. Organic revenue increased 6.2 percent.

Analysts expected quarterly earnings of $0.59 per share on sales of $370.41 million.
