Companies moving on news include:

(+) Teva Pharmaceutical Industries ( TEVA ) ADRs were up more than 6% after it booked Q3 adjusted earnings of $0.68 per share, down from $1.00 in the same period a year ago but topping the estimate of $0.54 from analysts polled by Capital IQ.

(+) Smith & Nephew ( SNN ) was advancing by more than 7% as it reported Q3 consolidated revenue of $1.17 billion, up slightly from $1.15 billion reported for the same period last year.

(+) Novo Nordisk ( NVO ) was up by over 2% as it announced Q3 EPS of DKK3.74 ($0.57), a decrease from DKK3.96 in the year-ago quarter. The Street estimate was for EPS of DKK3.89.
