Halliburton Company Bottom Line Climbs In Q3

(RTTNews.com) - Halliburton Company ( HAL ) announced earnings for its third quarter that advanced from last year.

The company's bottom line came in at $435 million, or $0.50 per share. This compares with $365 million, or $0.42 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.49	 per share, according to 

figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company's revenue for the quarter rose 13.4% to $6.17 billion from $5.44 billion last year.
