First Republic Bank Q3 Earnings Rise

(RTTNews.com) - First Republic Bank ( FRC ) announced a profit for its third quarter that rose from last year.

The company's bottom line totaled $196.43 million, or $1.19 per share. This compares with $185.74 million, or $1.14 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.20 per share, according to figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
