First Republic Bank Q2 Earnings Advance

(RTTNews.com) - First Republic Bank ( FRC ) released a profit for its second quarter that increased from last year.

The company's bottom line totaled $197.62 million, or $1.20 per share. This compares with $172.26 million, or $1.06 per share, in last year's second quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.17 per share, according to figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
