European ADRs Move Lower in Monday Trading

American depositary receipts of European stocks were trading 0.13% lower at 126.40 on the Bank of New York Mellon Europe ADR Index on Monday.

In continental Europe, the gainers were led by telecommunications provider Telecom Italia ( TI ), and biotech firm Zealand Pharma ( ZEAL ), which rose 4% and 3.9% respectively. They were followed by health care company Novo Nordisk ( NVO ), and marketing firm Criteo ( CRTO ), which were up 3.1% and 2.5%.

The decliners in continental Europe were led by pharmaceutical company Oasmia Pharmaceutical ( OASM ), and biopharmaceutical firm DBV Technologies (DBVT), which lost 7.8% and 5.6% respectively. They were followed by software firm Talend (TLND), and 3D printer company voxeljet (VJET), which were off 3.8% and 3.5%.

In the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by biotech company Autolus Therapeutics (AUTL), and telecommunications provider Vodafone Group (VOD), which climbed 4.7% and 2.3% respectively. They were followed by Lloyds Banking Group (LYG), and education and education publishing company Pearson (PSO), which were up 2% and 1.8%.

The decliners in the UK and Ireland were led by biopharmaceutical companies NuCana (NCNA), Amarin (AMRN), and Adaptimmune Therapeutics (ADAP), which fell 4.7%, 4.6%, and 4.6% respectively. They were followed by pharmaceutical company Avadel (AVDL), which shed 3.6%.
