Energy shares were steady in pre-market trade Tuesday.

Light, sweet crude oil for May delivery was up 0.1% at $66.30 per barrel, while natural gas was down fractionally at $2.73 per million Btu.

In energy ETFs, the United States Oil Fund ( USO ) was flat at $13.38 while the United States Natural Gas ETF ( UNG ) was down 0.8% at $22.52.
