Consumer stocks were mixed in pre-market trading Friday.

Early movers include:

(+) Anheuser-Busch Inbev ( BUD ), which was almost 4% higher after Bloomberg reported that the brewer was considering floating part of its Asian operations to unlock value after a string of acquisitions left it saddled with debt.

In other sector news:

(-) Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory ( RMCF ) was down by more than 1% as it posted fiscal Q3 earnings of $0.09 per share, down from $0.13 in the same period a year ago. Analyst estimates were not available.

(-) Fiat Chrysler ( FCAU ) was up nearly 3%, even after media reports that it has recalled more than 1.6 million vehicles worldwide over defective Takata front passenger air bag inflators.
