Founded in 1981, Dimensional Fund Advisor offers investment solutions from different asset classes to institutional and individual investors, investment consultants and financial advisors. It boasts more than 1,300 investment professionals across 13 offices across nine countries in North America, Asia and Europe.

Dimensional had nearly $517 billion of assets under management as of Dec 31, 2018. For the past three decades, the company has been providing investment management strategies to clients. This Texas-based firm invests in both domestic and foreign equities, fixed-income securities, retirement income funds, real estates and commodity markets.

DFA International Large Cap Growth DILRX aims to achieve long-term capital appreciation. The fund Advisor purchases securities of large foreign companies in countries that have developed markets which the Advisor must deem of high profitability and valuation ratios against other foreign companies at the time of buying the securities. DILRX has three and five-year annualized returns of 8.8% and 2.7% respectively.

Jed S. Fogdall has been one of the fund managers of DILRX since 2012.

DFA Investment Grade I DFAPX aims for higher total returnsfrom eligible investments. The fund follows its investment objective by investing in a broad portfolio of investment grade debt securities of U.S. and foreign corporate and government issuers. DFAPX has three and five-year annualized returns of 1.7% and 2.5% respectively.

DFAPX has an expense ratio of 0.22% compared with the category average of 0.76%.

DFA US Small Cap Growth Institutional DSCGX seeks capital appreciation over a long period. The fund purchases a diverse group of easily marketable securities of American small-cap companies that the Advisor deems to have high profitability and valuation ratios as compared to other U.S. small-cap companies at the time of buying the securities. DSCGX has three and five-year annualized returns of 13.9% and 7.6% respectively.
