Asian ADRs Move Lower in Tuesday Trading

American depositary receipts of Asian stocks were trading 0.12% lower at 165.44 on the Bank of New York Mellon Asia ADR Index on Tuesday.

In North Asia, the gainers were led by online game publisher The9 ( NCTY ), which soared 36%. CTrip.com International ( CTRP ) climbed 16.5% while IT firm ChinaCache ( CCIH ) rose 6%.

The decliners in North Asia were led by securities brokerage China Finance Online ( JRJC ) and social media platform Weibo Corporation ( WB ), which fell 17.9% and 8.2% respectively. They were followed by wealth management firm Jupai Holdings (JP) and online game developer Changyou.com (CYOU), which were off 6.3% and 3.4%.

In South Asia, the gainers were led by automaker Tata Motors (TTM) and ICICI Bank (IBN), which rose 6.9% and 3.2% respectively. They were followed by mining company Vedanta (VEDL) and HDFC Bank (HDB), which were up 2.4% and 1.6%.

IT company Wipro (WIT) led the decliners in South Asia, falling 1.3%. IT firm Infosys (INFY) was down 0.4%.
