Asian ADRs Move Lower in Thursday Trading

American depositary receipts of Asian stocks were trading 1.28% lower at 163.21 on the Bank of New York Mellon Asia ADR Index on Thursday.

In North Asia, educational services provider China Online Education ( COE ) rose 5%.

The decliners in North Asia included internet company Xunlei ( XNET ), which tumbled 11%. Qutoutiao ( QTT ) fell 7.8% and social media platform Weibo Corporation ( WB ) lost 6.4%.

In South Asia, decliners were led by Wipro ( WIT ) and automaker Tata Motors (TTM), which fell 3.6% and 1.8% respectively. Pharmaceutical company Dr. Reddy's Laboratories (RDY) fell 1.5% and Infosys (INFY) declined 1.3%.
