Asian ADRs Move Higher in Wednesday Trading

American depositary receipts of Asian stocks were trading 0.52% higher at 174.74 on the Bank of New York Mellon Asia ADR Index on Wednesday.

In North Asia, the gainers were led by Fronteo ( FTEO ), a provider of Asian-language e-discovery solutions and services, and real estate services provider Leju Holdings ( LEJU ), which surged 10% and 7.7% respectively. They were followed by media company Phoenix New Media ( FENG ), and Aurora Mobile ( JG ), a data collecting and analytics platform, which rose 4.3% and 3.8%.

The decliners in North Asia were led by travel company Tuniu Corp ( TOUR ), and real estate internet portal Fang Holdings (SFUN), which fell 8.5% and 6.5% respectively. They were followed by video-sharing site Bilibili (BILI), and wealth management firm Noah Holdings (NOAH), which lost 3.8% each.

In South Asia, the only gainers were by ICICI Bank (IBN), and telecommunications provider Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TLK), which were up 0.6% and 0.2% respectively.

Pharamceutical firm Dr. Reddy's Laboratories (RDY) led the decliners in South Asia, falling 2.4%, followed by mining company Vedanta (VEDL), telecommunications operator PLDT (PHI), and IT company Infosys (INFY), which were off 1.6%, 1.3%, and 1.1% respectively.
