Asian ADRs Move Higher in Tuesday Trading

American depository receipts of Asian stocks were 1.03% higher at 152.57 on the Bank of New York Mellon Asia ADR Index on Tuesday.

In North Asia, gainers were led by 111, Inc. ( YI ), and electronics and entertainment company Sony ( SNE ), which climbed 6.8% and 6% respectively. They were followed by online game publisher Gravity ( GRVY ), and technology company Xunlei ( XNET ), which were up 5.6% and 3.3%.

Decliners in North Asia were led by solar energy company ReneSola ( SOL ), and China New Borun (BORN), a producer of corn-based edible alcohol, which fell 10.4% and 9.3% respectively. They were followed by Autohome (ATHM), an online car marketplace, and financial holding company KB Financial Group (KB), which dropped 5.1% and 4.4%.

In South Asia, gainers were led by telecommunications operator Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TLK), and IT company SIFY Technologies (SIFY), which climbed 6.2% and 5.5% respectively. They were followed by digital entertainment company Sea Limited (SE), and automaker Tata Motors (TTM), which rose 2.9% and 2.1%.

Telecommunications operator PLDT (PHI) led the decliners in South Asia, falling 0.8%, followed by WNS Holdings (WNS), a provider of business process management services, IT company Wipro (WIT), and HDFC Bank (HDB), which lost 0.4%, 0.2%, and 0.1% respectively.
