Asia ADRs Nudge Higher in Thursday Session

American depositary receipts of Asian stocks were trading 0.8% higher at 181.16 on the Bank of New York Mellon Asia ADR Index on Thursday morning.

Gainers in North Asia were led by content and application delivery services provider ChinaCache ( CCIH ), up 9.3%; followed by wealth management service provider Jupai Holdings ( JP ), 10% higher; online retailer LightInTheBox ( LITB ), up 6.2%; and mobile internet services provider NQ Mobile ( NQ ), 5% higher.

In South Asia, shares of internet company Sea Limited ( SE ) increased 5.3%; Indian telecom Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TLK) rose 2.1%, and Philippine telecom PLDT (PHI) gained 1%.

Decliners in North Asia were led by web-based financial services provider China Finance Online (JRJC), down 7.9%; followed by manufacturer of steel materials Ossen Innovation (OSN), 5.9% lower; education services provider China Online Education (COE), down 3.4%; and internet company Cheetah Mobile (CMCM), 2.5% lower.

And, in South Asia, shares of drug maker Dr. Reddy's Laboratories (RDY) decreased 0.5%, provider of subscription television services Videocon d2h (VDTH) declined 0.2%, and Mumbai-based financial group HDFC Bank (HDB) lost 0.1%.
