A leading dermatologist with Play Sun Smart™, a program by Major League Baseball with the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA) and the American Academy of Dermatology, will visit the NASDAQ MarketSite in New York City's Times Square. The Play Sun Smart program provides information on sun safety and raises awareness of the importance of skin cancer prevention and detection. This is the 14th year of the program, which includes skin cancer screenings of MLB players and employees.
In honor of the occasion, Jim Duquette, former General Manager of New York Mets, former Vice President of Baseball Operations of the Baltimore Orioles and current analyst for MLB.COM (http://MLB.COM) and MLB NETWORK RADIO, and Dr. Ken Wasserman, a Leading Dermatologist in Play Sun Smart, and team dermatologist for the Baltimore Orioles, will ring the Closing Bell.
