Tony F. Mack, the Mayor of Trenton, New Jersey will visit the NASDAQ MarketSite in Times Square to officially ring The NASDAQ Stock Market Opening Bell.

About Mayor Tony F. Mack:

Mayor Tony F. Mack, a resident of the City of Trenton, was educated through Trenton Public Schools, and attended college at Howard University in Washington, DC where he earned a bachelor's degree. He attended graduate school at Fairleigh DickinsonUniversity and graduated with a Master's degree in Public Policy. He is pursuing a doctoral degree in Education Administration.

He was elected to the Mercer County Board of Chosen Freeholders in 1996, and served in this capacity for 12 years. Mayor Mack served on various committees including: the Commission on Child Abuse and Missing Children; the Airport Advisory Council; the Human Services Advisory Council; the Board of School Estimate; and the Organization Rules and Procedures Committee. During his second term he was chosen as President of the Freeholder Board.

Mayor Mack was a committeeman in the East and West Ward of the city. He was active in past mayoral and city council campaigns. His current political affiliations include the Mercer County Democratic Caucus and former Chairperson of the Trenton Democratic Committee. He led Trenton in a Mercer County victory by restoring a Democrat to the County Executive position after 24 years.

He is a member of the following organizations: Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated; the King David Lodge #15 Prince Hall Affiliate; Pride of Trenton Lodge #118; a life member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People; and member of the Urban League Guild.

He is a member of Laborers Local #595, and Past-President of AFSCME Local 2281. He is a lifetime member of American Council of Young Political Leaders. Past memberships include serving on the Board of Directors of Martin House Learning Center, President of the Board of Directors for the North 25 Housing Development and an Advisory Board member for the National Association of Counties.

Trenton's youth is near and dear to the Mayor's heart, he established the Tony Mack Cares Foundation, an organization that assists students with academic achievement and career development. He is committed to working with the residents of the City of Trenton in order to transform their quality of life.

He resides in the historic Berkeley Square section of Trenton with his wife Kara, son Tony II, and daughters Carrington, Madison and Kennedy.
