Texas Instruments Incorporated to Join the NASDAQ-100 Index Beginning April 23, 2012

NEW YORK, April 13, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Texas Instruments Incorporated (Nasdaq:TXN) will become a component of the NASDAQ-100 Index® (Nasdaq:NDX) and the NASDAQ-100 Equal Weighted Index (Nasdaq:NDXE) prior to market open on Monday, April 23, 2012. Texas Instruments Incorporated will replace First Solar, Inc. (Nasdaq:FSLR).
