Semi-Annual Review of OMX Copenhagen 20 Index

Stockholm, December 2, 2009 - The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:NDAQ) announced today the result of the semi-annual review of the OMX Copenhagen 20 Index (NASDAQ OMX Copenhagen: OMXC20), which will become effective with the market open on Monday, December 21, 2009. As a result of the re-ranking NASDAQ OMX will add Jyske Bank A/S to the OMXC20 Index and remove Coloplast B. NASDAQ OMX has also reviewed the OMX Copenhagen 20 index rules. Effective from this review, the constituents of the index will be free float adjusted. This means that only the part of the share capital that is considered available for trading is included in the index. The objective of introducing free float adjustment is to avoid a distortion in the price of a security and to improve the index' overall investability. Free float adjustment is today a commonly used standard among major index providers.
