Sanctuary for Families, New York's leading nonprofit organization dedicated exclusively to serving domestic violence victims, sex trafficking victims and their children will ring the NASDAQ Closing Bell on Monday, June 13th. Sanctuary visits the NASDAQ MarketSite in New York City's Times Square in honor of their annual Zero Tolerance Benefit which took place on Tuesday, June 7th – over 1,500 attendees raised over $1.8 million dollars to support Sanctuary's life-saving work and took a pledge of zero tolerance against domestic violence and sex trafficking.
In honor of the occasion, Anita Kawatra, Sanctuary Board Member, will ring the Closing Bell along with many Sanctuary staff members, volunteers and supporters.
