The Salvation Army to Ring the Nasdaq Stock Market Opening & Closing Bells

What: 

The Salvation Army will visit the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square. The Salvation Army operates over 7,400 centers in communities across the United States. Through these centers, The Salvation Army provides a vast array of programs and services that include food distribution, disaster relief, rehabilitation, street outreach, a wealth of children’s programs, and much more.   

Founded in 1865, The Salvation Army, in 2015, celebrated its worldwide 150th anniversary.

In honor of the occasion, Major Susan Wittenberg and Major Philip Wittenberg, will ring the Opening & Closing Bells.

Opening Bell: 9:15 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. ET
