As part of National Parkinson's Disease Awareness Month, taking place throughout the month of April, The Parkinson Council, a Philadelphia-based organization committed to supporting people with Parkinson's disease, their families, and caregivers will visit the NASDAQ MarketSite in Times Square.
Throughout the month of April, organizations and individuals across the country will work together to raise awareness of Parkinson's disease – which affects 1.6 million people in the U.S., with more than 50,000 new patients diagnosed each year.
In honor of the occasion and to kick off National Parkinson's Disease Awareness Month, Ronald S Robbins, Board Member of The Parkinson Council will ring the Opening Bell.
