NASDAQ OMX Introduces a New Data Service for Its Stock and Commodity Indexes

NEW YORK, June 17, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ) has introduced a new Secure Web Service for Premier subscribers of NASDAQ OMX Global Index Watch, a data service for key NASDAQ OMX stock, commodity and fixed-income indexes. This new service facilitates more efficient access to and integration of valuable index data. NASDAQ OMX calculates more than 1,500 diverse indexes in the U.S., Europe and throughout the world.

NASDAQ OMX Global Index Watch is an indispensable tool for investment professionals who track NASDAQ OMX indexes or trade NASDAQ OMX index-related derivative instruments and provides essential historical data via an easy-to-use web interface. With the new Secure Web Service, Premier subscribers to Global Index Watch can now retrieve defined data services via an automated process for key NASDAQ OMX indexes. In addition, these subscribers can download secure files to their systems.
