Helgi S. Gunnarsson CEO of Reginn commented, “Since the autumn of 2010, Reginn’s objective has been to list the company on the stock exchange. This milestone does not mark the end of that process, but rather a new beginning in the history of the company. We now have a shareholder base of around 1000 which reflects the strong level of confidence in the company‘s asset portfolio, operations and vision. We are of the opinion that there are many opportunities for expansion ahead and the listing will help the company to take full advantage of those opportunities.
Pall Hardarson, President at NASDAQ OMX Iceland, said: “We warmly welcome Reginn to our Main market, the first real estate company to be listed on NASDAQ OMX Iceland. Reginn is a good addition to our growing equity market and its listing increases the diversity of investment options on the market. Reginn is entering a new phase in their corporate life where they will enjoy greater overall visibility and access to new investors. We wish them great success.”
Landsbankinn is Reginn‘s financial adviser as well as a market maker along with Islandsbanki.
