NASDAQ OMX Iceland welcomes Fjarskipti hf. (Vodafone Iceland) to its Main Market

Reykjavik, 18 December, 2012 — NASDAQ OMX (NASDAQ: NDAQ) announces that the shares of Fjarskipti hf. (ticker symbol: VOICE) today start trading on the Main Market of NASDAQ OMX Iceland. Fjarskipti (Vodafone Iceland) is a small cap company within the Telecommunications sector. It is the eighth company to list on NASDAQ OMX Nordic main markets in 2012 and the third company to list on NASDAQ OMX Iceland in 2012.

Vodafone Iceland is a telecommunications company that offers individuals, corporations, institutions and government agencies all elements of telecommunications services. Tens of thousands of households and hundreds of thousands of people utilize the services of Vodafone Iceland, which also serves all the major municipalities and many of the largest companies. About 390 people work for the company. Vodafone Iceland’s services and product are to a large extent based on the cooperation with Vodafone Group Plc.
