Kraft to Celebrate Its Successful Spin-Off From Mondelēz International, Inc. on Oct. 1

What:

Kraft Foods Group, Inc., a $19 billion food & beverage powerhouse with a portfolio of beloved, iconic brands, will ring the NASDAQ Stock Market Opening Bell remotely from its Northfield, Illinois headquarters tomorrow, Tuesday, October 2.

By ringing the Opening Bell, Kraft will celebrate its successful October 1 spin-off from its parent company, Mondelēz International, Inc. (formerly Kraft Foods Inc.).

Kraft Foods Group will begin "regular-way" trading on The NASDAQ Global Select Market tomorrow, October 2, 2012, under the ticker symbol "KRFT." Mondelēz International, Inc. will start "regular-way" trading tomorrow, October 2, 2012, on The NASDAQ Global Select Market under the ticker symbol "MDLZ." The previous ticker symbol, "KFT," will be retired.

On June 26, 2012 Kraft Foods Inc. switched its exchange listing and began trading on The NASDAQ Global Select Market. To date, more than half a trillion dollars in market capitalization has transferred listings and has begun trading on The NASDAQ Stock Market.
