Junior Achievement of New York to Ring The NASDAQ Stock Market Closing Bell

What:

Junior Achievement of New York will visit the NASDAQ MarketSite in Times Square to celebrate the final round of the 5th Annual Junior Achievement of New York Business Plan Competition, which will occur at the NASDAQ MarketSite on June 1. Recognizing the growing demand for high school level business education programs are rigorous, relevant and can be applied in the real world, JA New York and the NASDAQ OMX Educational Foundation once again partnered up on the Competition to seed NYC and Long Island students' interest in entrepreneurship as a pathway to economic and social empowerment.

In honor of the occasion, twenty-four high school students from six NYC and Long Island schools, NASDAQ representatives, JA corporate volunteers and educators from qualifying schools will join Joseph Peri, President of the Junior Achievement of New York to ring the Closing Bell.
