About His Excellency Mr. Alioune Badara CiSSE, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Senegalese Abroad:

Dr. Alioune Badara CiSSE is the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Senegalese Abroad since April 2012. He is a US trained Lawyer who also holds a degree in Public Administration from Minnesota University. After graduating from the University of Dakar in 1986, he attended the Institute of Political Studies in Toulouse (France). He earned a Bachelor in International Public Law and a Master of Arts in Foreign Languages from the University of Toulouse. A Professor of Law and Foreign Languages, he served as Secretary General of the Government of Senegal from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, he was Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Senegal.
