Coco Rocha has been at the top of the modeling industry since her discovery at age fifteen. Introduced to the world by legendary photographer Steven Meisel, she has appeared on the runways and posed for the camera of every designer and photographer of note for more than a decade. She has been named “Model of the Year” by both Elle and Marie-Claire magazines, and as well as one of the top thirty models of the decade by French Vogue. Considered one of the most versatile and skilled models working today, Rocha was nicknamed "Queen of Pose" by her fans and contemporaries like Tyra Banks. Living up to her name, in 2014 she published a 2000 page encyclopedia named "Study Of Pose" with Harper Collins which has gone on to become an industry staple for aspiring and established models alike.
In June of 2016 Coco announced that she was forging a new path in the modeling industry by taking a management and ownership stake in NOMAD MGMT. She joins the helm with industry veterans Damon Rutland, Roman Young and her husband and longtime collaborator, James Conran. At a time when most top modeling agencies are owned by hedge funds or large corporations with no real connection to the modeling and fashion industries, NOMAD is owner-operated and able to quickly and nimbly adapt to the quickly changing face of the industry while enjoying all of the access and knowledge of the much larger agencies. In addition to being represented by the agency, Coco serves as Brand Director and as a mentor for the models signed to the agency, a role she has unofficially assumed for many of todays top working models and cover stars.
