CBOE Holdings, Inc. (CBOE), Parent of Chicago Board Options Exchange, to Conduct NASDAQ Opening Bell Ceremony Remotely From Chicago

What: William J. Brodsky, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CBOE Holdings, Inc. and the Chicago Board Options Exchange, will ring the NASDAQ Opening Bell remotely from the Exchange's trading floor on Tuesday, June 15 at 9:30 a.m. (ET) to celebrate the CBOE's initial public offering on NASDAQ. Mr. Brodsky will be joined by Sandy Frucher, NASDAQ OMX Vice Chairman and government and CBOE officials.
  NASDAQ has attracted more than 30 new listings YTD – a number that represents an approximate 50% increase over NASDAQ IPOs captured during Q1 2009. As of June 11, 2010, the IPOs have raised roughly $2.6 billion in proceeds. 
  The Opening Bell is a ceremonial event that represents NASDAQ's virtual market model. As a result, NASDAQ can be opened from any location, bringing together investors and market participants from around the world to mark the beginning of the trading day.
