Backplane & United Nations to Ring The NASDAQ Stock Market Closing Bell in Honor of World Malaria Day

What:

Backplane, an innovative tech start-up which powers online communities, uniting people around interests, affinities and movements, and the United Nations will team up to ring The NASDAQ Stock Market Closing Bell to raise awareness for World Malaria Day, which will occur on April 25. The theme for World Malaria Day 2012 is Sustain Gains, Save Lives: Invest in Malaria.  

In honor of the occasion the following guests will ring the Closing Bell:

  • Ray Chambers, the United Nations Secretary-General's Special Envoy for Malaria;
