Aviat Networks, Inc. (AVNW) will visit the NASDAQ MarketSite in New York City’s Times Square.
In honor of the occasion, Harald Braun, President and Chief Executive Officer of Aviat Networks, Inc., will preside over the NASDAQ Opening Bell.
To coincide with the bell ringing ceremony, Harris Stratex will also announce today that the company is adopting Aviat Networks as their new worldwide corporate name and brand identity. The updated Aviat Networks name and logo represent a culmination of the Company’s transformation over the last three years from that of a specialized microwave backhaul equipment vendor into a world-class, advanced IP network solutions provider with a comprehensive portfolio of IP migration solutions and lifecycle services.
During a press conference after the bell ringing, Harald Braun will discuss how the new company, Aviat Networks, is uniquely positioned to enable operators to accelerate their migration to an all-broadband future and capitalize on the explosive growth of mobile data traffic around the globe.
