A train thought to be carrying chemicals and toxic raw materials en route to the Netherlands from Germany derailed on Saturday (May 4) and caught fire near the Belgian village of Schellebelle. The governor of Eastern Flanders, Jan Briers, told a local news agency that two people who lived alongside the track were killed and 14 others injured. Amateur video appears to show a large fire with large plumes of smoke rising in to the night sky.
