Third U.S. Border Patrol Agent Gunned Down - Presented by: The Aol. On Network

A U.S. Border Patrol agent was shot and killed Tuesday near Naco, Arizona, and another agent was wounded. The agents came under fire as they responded to a sensor that had gone off near the border, according to a statement from U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The agent killed was identified as 30-year-old Nicholas Ivie, from Provo, Utah. Ivie joined the Border Patrol in January 2008. He is is survived by a wife and two children.
