Romney and Ryan Risk Losing Florida, Iowa and Pennsylvania Over Medicare
Mitt Romney choosing Paul Ryan as his running mate made Medicare the issue of the campaign because Ryan's budget plans turn the program into a voucher system for future retirees. That's made swing state senior-rich Florida a prime battleground for the Mediscare battle -- but Iowa and Pennsylvania have almost as many older voters. No wonder Ryan is finally talking about it.
