Officers Open Fire On Suspect Carrying Military Rifle, Gas Mask
A San Diego police officer shot a man described by police as wearing a tactical vest and carrying a gas mask, handgun and military-style assault rifle. As police opened a door leading to the building's garage, they were confronted by a man carrying a rifle, according to Lt. Jorge Duran. The suspect saw the officers and began to raise the barrel towards them, according to the department statement.
