Medical Reports 'Conclude' Indian Athlete Pinki Pramanik Is Male, Charged With Rape
India's Asian Games gold medal winner Pinki Pramanik has been charged with rape and cheating after medical reports appeared to confirm she is actually a man. Pramanik won a gold medal in the women's 4x400m relay at the 2006 Asian Games, but was arrested on June 14 this year following a complaint lodged by a woman, Anamika Acharya, who said she was the live-in partner of the athlete.
