Joe Donnelly Defeats Mourdock For U.S. Senate Seat From Indiana
Democrat Rep. Joe Donnelly beat Richard Mourdock to win the open U.S. Senate seat for Indiana, projects Fox59. The race attracted national attention, first for the defeat of sitting Sen. Richard Lugar in the GOP primary and then when Mourdock said during a debate: “Even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape, it is something that God intended.”
