Dramatic Rescue Saves Corona Del Mar Resident From Blaze

Fire raced through a home Monday afternoon and left a resident and two police officers injured, the Orange County Register reported. Fire crews responded to the blaze in a two-story home in the 600 block of Marguerite Avenue, said Jennifer Schulz, a spokeswoman with the Newport Beach Fire Department. Firefighters rescued a man from the home and took him to a burn center at Western Medical Center in Santa Ana.
