Americans have said they are more likely to buy the beer brand during some of the UEFA Champions League’s most nail-biting points. Heineken kicked off the global campaign with spots in multiple languages and a #ShareTheSofa social media tagline. The beer maker estimated that consumer engagement increased during each UEFA Champions League matchweek, as its advertising reached around 47 million UEFA Champions League fans.
