Stocks Climb As Investors Weigh Earnings, Economy - Presented by: The Aol. On Network

Stocks rose for a third day on Wednesday as investors weighed company earnings against a report that showed economic growth stalled during the fourth quarter. Investors also digested the Federal Reserve's announcement that it would further reduce its bond purchases. The Standard & Poor's 500 index rose three points, or 0.2 percent, to 1,881, the Dow Jones industrial average rose 30 points, or 0.2 percent, to 16,565 and the Nasdaq composite rose four points, or 0.1 percent, to 4,107.
