Sochi Olympic Torch Reaches Bottom of World's Deepest Lake - Presented by: The Aol. On Network

A rescuer from the Russian Emergencies Ministry, Nikolai Rybachenko, took the Olympic torch to the bottom of the world's deepest lake, Lake Baikal, on Saturday. The mission was the result of two months of training dives. The Olympic torch is on an unprecedented 65,000-kilometer, 123-day journey, criss-crossing Russia to show the world Russia's regional and ethnic diversity while creating excitement and unity among residents ahead of the Games.
