Retailers Not Enough to Renew Buying - Presented by: The Aol. On Network

U.S. stocks were stuck in neutral with investors still not ready to push the S&P 500 to a record. Gains were tiny, but enough to send the Nasdaq to a fresh 14-year high. Surprise! Surprise! New homes sold like hot cakes in January, hitting a 5-1/2-year high, at the seasonally adjusted annual rate of 468,000. Most deals closed in the Northeast and the South, the two regions that took the hardest hit from unusually cold winter weather blamed for holding back most of the U.S. economy.
