The former car of choice for China's leadership - attempting a comeback after decades. The first Red Flag, or 'Hongqi' in Chinese, was built in 1958 by China's First Auto Works. The brand ferried around Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping. But in the early 80s production was shut down, paving the way for the Audi to become the de facto government vehicle. China's new leaders want that to change. But a made-in-China luxury car? Who would pay top dollar for that?
