Japanese Prison Unveils Cuddly New Mascot - Presented by: The Aol. On Network

Asahikawa Prison in Japan is unveiling a 6-foot-6 mascot named Katakkuri-Chan. The character was designed to let the prisoners know the institution is sympathetic to their struggles through their rehabilitation, and to help the prison connect with the community. Patrick Jones (@Patrick_E_Jones) thinks whomever dresses up as Chan may have the most dangerous job in the facility.
