No Charges as Chile Mine Collapse Case Closes - Presented by: The Aol. On Network

A two month investigation into the Chilean mine collapse that set a world survival record concluded it was an accident. The prosecutor said there was not enough evidence to charge the mine owners with any crime. The 33 Chilean miners were trapped underground for 69 days when the San Jose mine collapsed in 2010. They became national heroes when they were hauled out one by one in a complex rescue operation. The lawyer for the San Esteban mining company argued it had been a tragic accident.
