This coming Friday marks six months since a gunman opened fire inside Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Connecticut. 20 children and six adults were killed before the shooter turned the gun on himself. The shooting inflamed national debate over school security and gun rights. On Wednesday, family members of the victims returned to Washington with a clear message: the need for tighter gun control. They joined West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin, who said gun control "just makes sense".
