The average diversified U.S. stock fund returned nearly 5 percent so far this year, that's according to research from Lipper. In light of Fidelity, the largest online brokerage, telling its investors outside the U.S., they can no longer buy or trade mutual funds in their accounts, investors are concerned if this is a trend going forward in the fund world.
