Mexican Stargazers Set New World Record - Presented by: The Aol. On Network

Almost 3,000 Mexicans brought out their telescopes and aimed for the stars to break the Guinness world record the country set in 2011. In the end 2,978 people simultaneously looked through telescopes at the moon from Mexico City and 40 other locations across the country -- beating the previous record of 2,753. Jose Franco Lopez is the president of Mexico's National Academy of Sciences.
