Gold Threatens Africa's Cocoa - Presented by: The Aol. On Network

Sixty percent of the world's cocoa is supplied by the Ivory Coast and Ghana. But the industry is under threat. Shafts are being dug between the cocoa trees in search of a far more lucrative crop - gold dust. This one-hectare plantation in western Ivory Coast has more than 30 shafts - linking to underground tunnels 10 metres down. The land is owned by Boifo Kouassi.
