GM CEO Mary Barra May Have Known About Steering Troubles In 2011 - Presented by: The Aol. On Network

Documents released Friday in conjunction with a House Energy and Commerce Committee investigation show that General Motors General Motors CEO Mary Barra received an email in 2011 regarding potential steering troubles in cars that were later recalled. The email from October 3, 2011 reportedly came from Terry Woychowski, then an engineer with the car company. On March 31 of this year GM recalled 1.3 million cars due to “sudden loss of electric power steering assist.
